The Scottish Rite Donor Recognition Program
Scottish Rite Hall of Honor
Pillars of Charity Portrait Gallery
The Supreme Council created the Scottish Rite Donor Recognition Program to acknowledge the support given to its charities by its members and by other friends of Freemasonry. The Program features a Gold Book of Recognition in which donors' names are inscribed in calligraphy and which is kept for viewing in the Library at the House of the Temple. There are also impressive bronze panels, each approximately ten feet high, mounted in significant places in the House of the Temple, that contain nameplates with the names of our donors. Other places of honor in the House of the Temple include the magnificent Hall of Honor and Pillars of Charity Portrait Gallery, which hold commissioned oil portraits of donors. There is also the Pillars of Charity Alcove with beautiful stained glass window and donor recognition "Pillars."
